JOINING TOGETHER TO CREATE A NEW CHURCH
FOR THE PEOPLE OF COLUMBUS
HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LIVE IN COLUMBUS AND ARE UNAFFILIATED WITH RELIGION.
What would your life look like without the local church?
Without a community to engage your wonder and guide you toward Jesus? Without a space to help your kids lay a foundation for a life of faith?
Today, hundreds of thousands of people in Columbus, Ohio live within that reality, distant from God and disengaged by the local Church. Their curiosities go undiscussed and unguided. And their families spend more time “keeping up” than growing deeper. The Church was once a space where real questions could be asked. Yet, today, many are unsatisfied by its repetition of unnuanced answers.
WE'RE ON A MISSION TO CREATE SPACE FOR THE PEOPLE OF COLUMBUS TOEXPLORE ANDINTEGRATE THEIR FAITH.
OUR PASTORS
Patrick and Emily Holden have committed their lives to building the Church. They are passionate about introducing people to Jesus through the life-transforming message of the Gospel.
Together with their 2 kids and a heart for Columbus, they are pioneering Nuvo Church with the mission to create spaces for people to explore and integrate faith.
Prior to launching Nuvo, they served as leaders at Kensington Church and North Point Community Church.
LEAD PASTORS
Ryan and Emily believe the local church has the potential to make the greatest impact in our world. And they have a passion for building it through the leadership development of others.
They are excited to return to Ohio and, more importantly, to people who are full of doubts and questions of faith.
Emily previously served as a licensed professional counselor. Ryan leads on the executive team with Rock Bridge Community Church.

CO-FOUNDING PASTORS
We’ve spent years dreaming of what God might do through a new church focused on those far from Him. And we’ve invested years learning from organizations doing just that. We believe the local church should be the first place that comes to mind when you have questions about life and what it means to live it to the full. The local church should be the safest place to explore and work to integrate faith.
The Church has always been built upon the sacrifices of many for the sake of those beyond it.

TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A CHURCH WHERE THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUALLY DISENGAGED CAN FIND COMMUNITY, DISCOVER JESUS, AND SHIFT THE DIRECTION OF THEIR FAMILIES FOREVER.
YOU'RE JOINING A GREAT TEAM
We’re honored to be teaming up with some of the most effective church planting organizations. Our process will be guided by Stadia Church Planting. With experience planting 320 U.S. churches and 400 more internationally, they’ve learned a thing or two about what it takes to effectively reach new cities. Stadia provides guidance, accountability, and training as we raise funds and steward them well.
We’re also launching with the support of Kensington, our sending church. Kensington is a 27-year old church plant now reaching 12,000 people each weekend. They’re committed to helping us launch in Columbus, making this their 80th church plant.
